Lawmen seize guns and marijuana

MOUNT OLIVE -- The Wayne County Sheriff's Office Warrants Division noticed drugs and weapons in the home of a Mount Olive man they were serving a warrant to Tuesday, prompting a call for additional lawmen and a subsequent arrest.
William Aaron White, 30, 315 Strawberry Lane, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a felon.
White was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $16,000 secured bond.
According to a press release, officers with the warrant division observed the drugs while serving the warrant and called in the Aggressive Crime Enforcement Team for assistance.
The officers found White in possession of several firearms and marijuana. White was taken into custody without incident.
