Wayne County Public Schools will hold its annual Teacher Job Fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gymnasium at Goldsboro High School. Prospective teachers can visit and learn about the programs and job opportunities at the district's 31 schools. HR representatives will also be available to answer questions about licensure, salary, benefits and scheduling.
Administrators encourage qualified teachers with an interest or desire to work for Wayne County Public Schools to attend the job fair and find out about classroom openings they can potentially fill.
Principals from across the district will be at the job fair to provide a list of openings at their individual schools. On-site interviews will be conducted for prospective teachers.
The Chamber of Commerce will provide snacks and refreshments for attendees. Members of the Chamber of Commerce Teacher Recruitment/Retention Committee will also have representatives on hand to help prospective teachers learn more about the advantages of working in Wayne County.
