Patrol deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office charged three people with possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop conducted Wednesday after 5 p.m. in the area of Arrington Bridge Road.
Deputies arrested Clark Nathan Sharp, 44, and April Michelle Frary, 31, both of 306 Slick Rock Road, along with Tony Lynn Grimes, 54, of 605 Stronach Ave.
The traffic stop took place after the car the suspects were riding in ran a stop sign, according to a press release.
All three suspects are currently being held in the Wayne County Jail awaiting first appearances in Wayne County Court.
Both Grimes and Ms. Frary were given secured bonds of $1,000, while Sharp's bond was set at $8,000 secured.
Maj. Tom Effler said the amount of meth, valued at an estimated $1,500, could have been anywhere from half an ounce to an ounce, depending on packaging and sale.
"Meth usually goes for $100 a gram," he said.
