Traffic stop results in felony cocaine charge

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office announced charges of felony possession of cocaine against Trina Louise Smith, 43, of 200 Marlette Drive, following a traffic stop Monday.
Deputies pulled Ms. Smith over due to a motor vehicle violation at the intersection of Marlette Drive and Dollard Town Road. She was found in possession of cocaine and subsequently arrested.
Ms. Smith received a $4,000 unsecured bond and is scheduled for a first appearance today in Wayne County District Court.
