Trial begins

Leonard Joyner, one of four men charged with murder in connection with the death of 16-year-old Kennedy McLaurin, has entered Courtroom No. 1 and is seated beside his attorney. Superior Court Judge Arnold Jones has also taken his seat and jury selection for the trial is set to begin any moment.
