A man drove a pickup truck into Wilber's Barbecue Friday night at around 7:53 p.m. causing $3,000 to the well-known establishment located at 4172 U.S. 70 East.
Scottie Lemont Rodgers, 51, of 202 Bright St., was maneuvering the truck into the parking space close to the restaurant's front door when, according to police reports, "his feet got tangled up." The Ford truck drove into building and caused damage to the side front door, the surrounding pillars and bricks on the building.
No one was injured during the incident.
Rodgers was given a violation of failure to reduce speed.
