A subject with a gun walked a Goldsboro man out of his own home and robbed him of his wallet just before 6 a.m. today, according to a Goldsboro police report.
Allen Clark Bennet, 23, whose home address is listed as 111 Wolf Lane, told GPD investigators the unidentified man came to his house at 1613 Ball St. at 5:50 a.m.
The suspect was let into the house by Davidson Bailey Scheu, 19, of Fremont, listed on the report as a witness.
According to the report, once inside, the man asked where "Marcus" was. Bennet replied that he did not know a Marcus. The man then allegedly took Bennet by the arm and asked to speak to him outside.
The suspect then pulled a gun and told Bennet not to move. He reached into Bennet's pocket, removed a wallet containing $620 in cash, and left in a waiting car driven by another person.
Bennet told police he did not see the driver and gave no further description other than to say the man who robbed him was black and the car he left in was white.
The investigation is ongoing.
