Goldsboro police have arrested a man they say attempted to break into a Comco gas station and convenience store on West Grantham Street in November.
He was identified despite his best attempts to conceal his face during the failed burglary.
Roger Raynor, 53, of Goldsboro has been charged with attempted breaking and entering and larceny for allegedly stealing the security camera at the T-Mart at 301 W. Grantham St. on Nov. 10, according to a police press release.
Raynor, who was held in the Wayne County Jail under $500 secured bond, allegedly took the camera after attempts to damage and disable the device failed.
Investigators determined Raynor as a suspect in the case just days after the incident and obtained warrants for his arrest.
He was located by police Thursday and arrested without incident after a traffic stop in the 300 block of West A Street.
Raynor was scheduled to appear today in Wayne County Court.
