The Goldsboro Police Department has recovered $821 worth of the more than $10,700 in camera equipment stolen in a Nov. 1 vehicle break-in, according to a press release.

One person is in custody.

April Rasheeda Rhodes, 33, 921 Fairview Circle, is charged with obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen property. Both charges are felonies.

The victim, Brian Strickland, told investigators his 2007 Mercedes was parked in the driveway of his home in the 300 block of South Claiborne Street when it was broken into.

Ms. Rhodes was developed as a suspect throughout the course of the investigation and arrested Tuesday without incident, the press release said.

She was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
