Most government offices to close for Veterans Day

Local, state and federal offices, as well as banks and post offices will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
All Wayne County offices will be closed, as will Wayne County Public Schools.
Town halls will be closed in Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Seven Springs and Eureka.
In Goldsboro, all sanitation services scheduled for Monday will be serviced on Wednesday.
Mount Olive's recyclable center will also be closed. The town hall will reopen on Tuesday, and the recyclables center will reopen on Wednesday.
Yard waste pick up in Mount Olive will also be delayed by one day, and the daily routes will be put back by one day. Household trash pickup will not be affected.
Town halls in Walnut Creek, Fremont and Pikeville will be open.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority will be operating on a holiday schedule on Monday. The bus service will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The van service will be operating on a holiday schedule which is the same as the Saturday schedule.
