On Aug. 18, a representative of Cox-Edwards Co. Inc., located at 1205 Parkway Drive, discovered a break-in that had occurred at the business between the dates of Aug. 16 and Aug. 18.
The following items were reported stolen:
• 2007 International Truck, Model 4300, white
• 2010 John Deere 35D mini excavator, yellow and black
• 12-ton Eager Beaver Trailer, yellow and orange
• Whacker tamper, Whacker Mud Hog pump
• chains, binders, clamps, meter box and CTS tubing

Then, on Sunday, Cox-Edwards Co. Inc. reported a second break-in between the dates of Aug. 23 and Aug. 25.
The following items were reported stolen;
• 1980 General Coach trailer, 14-foot
• assorted DI pipes and sleeves and Master Lock padlocks

On Aug. 21, Fred Jones reported a break-in occurring at 1106 S. George St. between the dates of Aug. 20 and Aug. 21.
The following items were reported stolen:
• 1988 International tractor trailer, white
• 1978 Phelan Low Boy trailer, yellow, 45-foot, 25-ton
• Massey Ferguson tractor, red
• Farm All tractor, red
• Libby's Welding Co. generator
