Doctor to speak on heart disease at WMH

Dr. Matthew Hook, a board-certified cardiologist, will be the featured speaker at Wayne Memorial Hospital's LiveWell Community Education Series this month.
The program will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the hospital auditorium on the ground floor.
Dr. Hook, a physician with Wake Heart and Vascular, is one of the new-est members of Wayne Memorial Hospital's medical staff.
His topic will be "Listen to Your Heart," and he will discuss women and heart disease, symptoms and signs of a heart attack, and heart disease prevention.
Afterward, he will answer questions.
The program is free, but seating is limited so advance registration is requested.
