Lecture will cover Battle of Gettysburg

The third lecture in a three-part series on the Battle of Gettysburg will be delivered Tuesday in Moffatt Auditorium at Wayne Community College.
The Foundation of Wayne Community College and The North Carolina Military History Round Table have partnered with the Paramount Theater and the Wayne County Historical Association to sponsor its major battle lecture series on the American Civil War.
Dr. Roy Heidecker, historian for the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, will discuss the final day of the crucial battle beginning at 7 pm.
The lecture will be followed by a viewing of a portion of the movie "Gettysburg."
