Pikeville bank robbed

The Heritage Bank at 100 W. Main St., Pikeville, was robbed today. No injuries were reported. People with information on this crime are asked to call the Pikeville Police Department at 919-242-5330 or the FBI at 1-800-209-2293. Tips also can be left at the bankrobbers.fbi.gov website. The North Carolina Bankers Association offers a reward through its Robbery Reward Program for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anybody involved.
