One suspect remains at large in connection with a May home invasion after two arrests by the Goldsboro Police Department.
Gerquon Alexander Brewington, 28, of 203 Odom Farm Lane, joins Quinton Lamont Kenon, who has already been charged for his role in the May 9 home invasion of Montrey S. Kornegay.
Brewington was arrested at a Day Circle address Friday morning.
Both are being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $400,000 secured bond.
Officials have not identified a third suspect wanted in connection with the robbery, according to Goldsboro police.
Ms. Kornegay saw three black men flee through the open door of her residence as she returned home just after 3 a.m.
Inside, she found her boyfriend, Daryl Williams, 60, injured from a blow to the head. The suspects allegedly robbed Williams of $600 and property before assaulting him and escaping.
Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or contact Investigator Doug Bethea at 919-580-4214.
