Wayne Democratic convention to be held on Saturday

Wayne County Democrats will hold their county convention Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at the Wayne County Courthouse.
The meeting is open to all Democrats.
State and congressional district representatives as well as officers will be elected.
To serve in one of the offices a person must be a Wayne County registered Democrat and live in the appropriate district for the office.
Speakers will include Terry Light, a candidate for district attorney, and other elected officials to be determined, possibly including Congressman G.K. Butterfield.
Immediately following the convention, a get-together and lunch will be held at the party's headquarters at 138 N. Center St.
