Man arrested for local break-ins

A Goldsboro man was arrested Friday in connection to a local break-in spree as city police continue to search for a second suspect.
On Friday, the Goldsboro Police Department Selective Enforcement Unit, along with the assistance of the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, arrested Jason Britt Ellis, 40, at his residence at 212 Stoney Creek Church Road without incident.
He is charged with 10 counts of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny, one count of felony possession of stolen goods, eight counts of misdemeanor larceny and eight counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.
Ellis was placed under a $30,000 secured bond. His first court appearance will be Monday.
No information on the second suspect was provided by police.
