Battle re-enactment to continue today

The final installment of the two-day Battle of the Goldsborough Bridge re-enactment will unfold today to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Dec. 17, 1862 engagement.
The schedule of events is as follows:
* 8 a.m. -- Battlefield open to the public
* 10 a.m. -- Camps open to the public
* 1 p.m. -- Battle re-enactment
* 5 p.m. -- Battlefield closed to the public
