Free flu vaccine available

Effective immediately, flu vaccine is available free at the Wayne County Health Department to anyone over 6 months of age, including adults, regardless of whether the individual has insurance. Adults (people 19 years and older) may only receive the injectable influenza vaccine.
The Wayne County Health Department is located at 301 N. Herman St. and is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
