The volunteer Guardian ad Litem program is looking for advocates for abused and neglected children. Volunteers are trained and then appointed along with an attorney advocate to represent the child's best interests in juvenile court proceedings.
The program works with other agencies to locate and develop resources that would benefit the child and the family. Volunteers can assist by speaking for a child's right to grow up in a safe and caring environment.
