Duplin Hall of Fame banquet Thursday

KENANSVILLE -- The Duplin County Hall of Fame board wants to remind the public of the 17th Annual Banquet that will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Country Squire Restaurant near Kenansville.
Each year the Duplin County Hall of Fame honors the lifelong contributions of two Duplin County residents and inducts them into the Hall of Fame at its annual banquet.
Tickets sales for the banquet are limited and may be purchased from any board member at a cost of $27.50. Board members are: Inga Flake of Faison; Anne Taylo of Faison; Claudius Morrisey of Warsaw; Davis Brinson of Kenansville (910) 296-2108; Eloise McMahan of Magnolia; Kristine Bryant of Island Creek (910) 285-3796; Doris Hatcher of Chinquapin; Marilynn Hroza of Glisson; Marie Maready of Limestone; Rita Warren of Rockfish; Sharon Patterson ofAlberston; Cynthia Price: 289-3837 of Rose Hill (910) 289-3837; Geraldine Tucker of the Smith community; and Linda Grady Smith of Wolfscrape.
Selina Riley-Gurganus will provide entertainment for the evening.
