Library semi-annual book sale 10/11-13

The Friends of the Library will sponsor its semi-annual book sale on the weekend of Oct. 12-13 at the main branch of the Wayne County Public Library on Ash Street.
A preview sale for the organization's members will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. Memberships may be purchased at the door for $10.
Hours of the public sale will be Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the sale go to enhance branches of the libraries through such ongoing projects as providing funds for book display cases, magazine subscriptions, children's programs, computer workstations, the William Whitfield "Bill" Smith Community Garden and more.
Membership forms to join the Friends of the Library are available at the Goldsboro branch.
