Knife leads to suspension
Authorities said a 9-year-old boy who brought a knife to school has been suspended. A teacher at Northwestern Elementary was informed by other students that a child was showing a knife around on the playground. When asked about it, the boy produced the knife and told her he'd only brought it to carve sticks. No one was harmed. The student was suspended.
