A group that organizes visits by foreign students to eastern North Carolina is in need of help in placing three students arriving from Spain this week.
Professor Frederic Fladenmuller of East Carolina University helps direct the Terra Lingua/Terre des Langues program that matches students with famililes in eastern North Carolina for a few weeks each summer. Fladenmuller said three students -- a teenage boy and a teenage girl -- still do not have host homes.
They are scheduled to arrive Tuesday to stay through late July. He asked that anyone interested in helping show the students what life is like "Down East" contact him immediately.
Students bring their own spending money. Families need not to have children to qualify.
