Scouts seeking U.S. flags for retirement ceremony on June 16

Boy Scout Troop 8 will hold an honorable U.S. flag retirement ceremony at New Hope United Methodist Church from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on June 16.
People may bring worn or torn U.S. flags for the ceremony. Currently, the Scouts have collected 350 flags, but their goal is honorably retire 500.
People with flags they would like to retire, but who are unable to attend the ceremony can drop them off prior to June 16 at:
* Boy Scouts of America, Tuscarora Council, 316 E. Walnut St. 734-1714.
* New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road. 778-1124.
