A 20-year-old characterized by his mother as having "a moderate case of mental retardation" was reported missing at just after midnight.
Evergreen Avenue resident Annette George told members of the Goldsboro Police Department that she last saw her son, Timmy, Sunday evening at 11:45 -- that she left her apartment for about 30 minutes and discovered he was missing when she returned.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black jeans, a black fur coat and black shoes and his mother said he might be going to Walmart, The Lighthouse or to Dudley.
A photo of the missing man was not available at press time, but is now on NewsArgus.com.
Those with information on George's whereabouts are asked to contact 919-735-2255 or Investigator Dwayne Bevell at 919-580-4243.
