Hundreds of children and their parents attended the event, sponsored by the Partnership for Children through the United Way. It was the seventh year the event has been held. Its purpose is to encourage parental involvement in their children's learning. More than 30 agencies, businesses and clubs had booths set up where children could play games and make crafts.
