Postal drive collects 13,500 pounds of food

More than 13,500 pounds of food was collected during a local campaign conducted by the National Association of Letter Carriers. The campaign, co-sponsored by United Way, was part of a national effort to help fill local food banks. These charities will benefit from the drive: The Community Soup Kitchen, Community Crisis Center, The Salvation Army, Shiloh Farm Ministry, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, United Church Ministries and Wayne Uplift Domestic Violence Shelter.
