Johnston Arts and Food Festival April 27

The Johnston County Arts Council is preparing for its 3rd annual Arts and Food Festival Gala on Friday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Johnston County Agricultural Auditorium.
The fundraiser is expected to generate revenue to assist the arts council with funding for the Artists-in-the-Schools program, in providing scholarships for Johnston Community College students studying Fine Arts, and free community programming such as student art exhibits and Music for the Lunch Bunch.
Tickets are $35 each and attendees will be treated to sample dishes from 15 of Johnston County's finest restaurants. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for 'People's Choice Award' of Best Restaurant.
The results of the juried art show will also be announced. Artwork will be on display and available for purchase.
