Shots fired
Shanita Benton reported to Goldsboro police that a man fired a handgun at an occupied home in 900 block of Carver Drive and at four automobiles in area. No one was injured during the incident that took place about 1 a.m. Monday.
B&Es and larcenies
*Kyle Jackson reported to Goldsboro police a break-in at his home in the 200 block of South Harding Drive that occurred Friday. Entry was made through a bedroom window. The items stolen from the home included a 12-gauge shotgun, .223-caliber semi-automatic rifle, acoustic guitar, laptop computer and PS3 game console. The value of he stolen goods was listed at $2,350.
*David Hammers reported to Goldsboro police the theft of a $250 laptop from his motel room at the Economy Inn, 802 W. Grantham St. The theft occurred while he had left his room to go to the motel's ice machine. The door to the room had been left slightly open by Hammers, according to the report.
