*James Green reported a break-in at his home in the 500 block of Boxwood Lane that occurred Monday. A back door was forced open to gain entry. During the break-in, a $349 PlayStation and a $250, 32-inch TV were stolen.
*Frankie Walker reported the theft of a 2010 BMX XUV500 4x4 all-terrain vehicle from his home in the 100 block of East April Lane that took place between Feb. 29 and Monday. The vehicle, valued a $6,000, was taken from an outbuilding that was left unsecured on his property. After speaking with authorities, Walker was informed the ATV was found at Northwest Elementary School Feb. 29. The vehicle was abandoned on the school's baseball field after it had caused damaged to the infield and a nearby fence.
*Ansco and Associates employee Juan Hernandez reported the theft of a $2,000 spool of ANMW200 cable from a construction site on N.C. 581 N. that occurred between Friday and Monday. It appeared the secured spool was rolled into nearby woods and the cable was removed. The empty spool was located in the nearby wooded area.
*Billy Herring reported the larceny of copper coils from a 2-ton a/c unit at a home in the 400 block of Dollard Town Road that occurred between Thursday and Monday. The reported damage to the unit was $3,500.
