Four Goldsboro men have been charged in connection with an investigation by the Goldsboro-Wayne County Drug Task Force and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office ACE team.

Rashad Jaquan Burt, 22, and Antonio Donquell Braswell, 21, both of 103 Tiffany Road, and Hussan Dupree Best, 20, of 103 S. Becton Lane, have each been charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer.

The three men were placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

Lamontae Morgan, 18, of 502 Boxwood Lane, has been charged with resisting a public officer and placed under a $4,000 secured bond.

The resisting arrests charges came after the suspects fled on foot from a home at 103 Tiffany Road when lawmen arrived about 5:40 p.m. to execute a search. Tiffany Road is located near the intersection of Tommy's and Hare roads.

Task Force and ACE Team members seized about seven ounces of marijuana and evidence indicative of the sale of drugs, such as scales and small plastic bags, Wayne County Sheriff's Office Capt. Richard Lewis said.

He said a complaint of drug activity at the home was received Wednesday, which allowed a search warrant to be obtained.

Lewis said there were about seven people in the home when the lawmen arrived.

While two of the men are considered to be residents of the home, Lewis said it is difficult to discern who else might have lived there.
