Two teens face 65 charges in rash of thefts

MOUNT OLIVE -- Two teenagers are facing a combined 65 charges in connection with a rash of break-ins in Mount Olive.
Amos Damas Jr., 17, 300 E. Pollock St. and Nathan Louis-Pierre, 19, 1013 SE Center St. were arrested early Tuesday morning by Mount Olive police and jailed at the Wayne County Detention Center under $40,000 secured bonds.
Damas is charged with six counts each of felony breaking and entering and injury to real property; four counts each of climbing on a vehicle to commit mischief or other crime; three counts each of injury to personal property, felony larceny after breaking and entering; and two counts each of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, breaking and entering a coin-operated machine, damage to a coin-operated machine, felony damage to computers or computer systems and second-degree trespassing.
Louis-Pierre is charged with six counts each of felony breaking and entering and injury to real property; four counts of climbing on a vehicle to commit mischief or other crime; three counts each of injury to personal property, felony larceny after breaking and entering and second-degree trespassing; two counts each of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, breaking and entering a coin-operated machine, damage to a coin-operated machine and felony damage to computers or computer systems; and one count of assault by pointing a gun.
