29-year-old found dead
Warren Lee Dudley, 29, was found dead in his bed at his home at 1302 Evergreen Avenue Wednesday.
Goldsboro police say Dudley died between 7:30 Tuesday night and 6:15 Wednesday morning, and while they do not suspect foul play in his death, an investigator has been assigned to the case and an autopsy will be performed.
B&Es and larcenies
*Dennis Wilkins reported the theft of a $7,000 a/c unit from outside of a home in the 6200 block of U.S. 70 E. The unit was removed from the vacant house at an unknown time in the past year.
*Scott White reported the theft of $3,000 worth of property from his home in the 100 block of Greystone Drive during a break-in that occurred between Nov. 29 and Tuesday. The stolen items included a 55" TV, Xbox game console and over a dozen video games.
*Gregory Lamm reported a break-in at his home in the 400 block of Jack Edmunson Road in Fremont that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Taken from the home were four rifles, a laptop computer, two TVs, jewelry, a game console and video games. The value of the stolen property was listed at more than $3,000.
*Paul Buday reported the theft of five a/c units from his home in the 100 block of Robert Avenue in Dudley that occurred between Monday and Tuesday. The total value of the units was $1,500.
