Pikeville man charged in sexual battery
Dequinta Laquell Horne, 19, of Ivey Lane in Pikeville, was charged with assault on a female and sexual battery by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Horne was placed under a $5,000 secured.
On Oct. 16, the Sheriff's Office received a report from a the female victim's mother of the assault.
Investigation revealed Horne was allegedly involved.
Mount Olive woman put under $75K bond.
Danne Gail Correll, 52, has been charged by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office with exploitation of disabled or elder adult, obtaining property by false pretenses, two counts of identity theft, three counts of financial transaction card theft and three counts of felonious financial transaction card fraud.
Correll, of Bowden Road in Mount Olive, was placed under a $75,000 bond.
