Nominations sought for awards

The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilies will hold its Annual Awards Luncheon on Oct. 20 at noon at Herman Park Center at Ash Street.
There are five awards given this year: Employee of the Year, Employer of the Year, Committee Member of the Year, Most Accessible Business and the Mayor's Trophy.
The deadline for the awards is Oct. 3. Ticket deadline is Oct. 14. Cost is $12.
Nomination forms and tickets can be obtained at the City Community Affairs Office at City Hall at 204 Center St. or by calling Sue Chance at 580-4359 or e-mailing her at schance@ ci.goldsboro.nc.us.
