Bag taken at library

Charles Allen Moore, 29, Woodview Drive, reported the theft of a number of items from a bench at the Wayne County Public Library on East Ash Street. The items taken and their values were book bag, $50; $60 in cash; cell phone, $499; $200 money order; cigarette lighter, $25; $12 in miscellaneous personal papers; and two VISA debit cards, $5.

Heat pumps stolen

Roger Paul Casey Jr., 59, Handley Acres Drive, reported to Goldsboro police the theft of two heat pump condensers valued at $8,000 and $500 in damages to pipes, tubes and wiring at a vacant warehouse.

Car stolen

Folden Lee Cannon, 23, West Lockhaven Drive, said someone had stolen his car from the parking lot at the apartment complex where he lives. The car was valued at $500.

Dirtbike stolen

William Wooten, 22, Miller Avenue, said that a dirt bike valued at $1,700 was reported stolen from the back of his pickup truck.

Break-in

Officials of Keystone Management reported to Goldsboro police that someone had done $600 in damages to an exterior wood door frame to an apartment on Benton Street. The occupant, Genna Kay Chriscoe, 26, reported the theft of a flat screen television valued at $500.
