Johnston County contracts with Code Red

Johnston County has announced that it has contracted with Code Red, an emergency notification company, to provide emergency messages to its residents.
In cases such as water outages and other emergency situations, the County will be able to call citizens in the affected areas and provide information.
Code Red also provides free weather warnings to residents who sign up for the service.
