Shots fired
According to a Goldsboro police report, a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg while stopped at a stop sign at Carver Drive and Olivia Lane around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a separate police report, a 23-year-old man was shot in the thigh while standing in the parking lot outside a building of Day Circle around 12:45 a.m. Thursday.
Both of the men were transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital and both men signed non-prosecution forms. Neither man claimed to know the identity of the shooters.
