Third-grade students in Melanie Batts' class at School Street Elementary School play a game of Monopoly this morning before an awards ceremony. Today marks the end of Ms. Batts' first year of teaching, as well as the last day of the school year for students in Wayne County Public Schools. Graduation ceremonies for six area high schools kick off Friday night at Rosewood, with four schools holding commencement on Saturday and Southern Wayne's ceremony wrapping up the season on Tuesday evening.
