The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is preparing to clear nearly 25 bicycles from a storage area.
The bikes have been found abandoned throughout the county. Some of the bikes have been in the possession of the Sheriff's Office for several years.
Anyone with valid proof of ownership can make a claim on the bicycles by calling the Sheriff's Office at 731-1373.
In accordance with state law, the bicycles will be held by the Sheriff's Office for an additional 30 days following today's publication.
All unclaimed bikes will be donated to a charitable organization.
