Vehicle vandalized

*Someone did $4,000 in damages to the vehicle of Kevin James Bryne, 24, Lockhaven Drive, by jumping up and down on it.

Thefts

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating these thefts:

*Glenn Robinson, 54, Elm Street, reported the theft of a $1,228 scooter.

*The theft of a $2,000 metal arm connector from Waynesborough Buildings, U.S. 117 South, was reported by Lynne McGuire Waddell, 44, an employee at the park. The connector had been laying next to a building. Also, damages totaled $30 to two padlock hinges.

*More than $2,500 worth of items were reported stolen from Warren Small Engine, U.S. 70 East. Sadie Aycock, 58, an employee at the firm said the stolen items and values included 20 chainlinks, $1,000; two chain saws, $500; miscellaneous tools, $200; four leaf blowers, $600; chain saw and case, $150; hedge trimmers, $150; leaf blower, $200.

*The theft of $3,49 worth of items were reported by Falina Chase, 40, Winslow Circle. Items taken and their values were: 50-inch flat-screen television, $2,200; 19-inch flat-screen television, $179; 19-inch flat-screen television, $159; Eastern Wayne High School class ring, $600; and Xbox 360 game console, $200. Damages totaled $40 to a door and $100 to a sliding screen door.

*Marcus Darden, 24, West Spence Street, reported the theft of $449 in cash.

*Jessica Rothwell, 24, Joy Drive, LaGrange, reported the theft of a $600 iPhone.
