Wayne County Planning Board hold special meeting to approve plat

It took the Wayne County Planning Board less than five minutes Wednesday afternoon during a special session to recommend approval of a preliminary plat for 19 lots on Dollard Town Road in New Hope Township.
It was the second time that the Planning Board has recommended commissioners approve the plat.
The plat was on commissioners' April 19 agenda, but was tabled when the board raised questions access. Commissioners had wanted the plat to show connectivity to surrounding property.
County Planner Connie Price said that developers Stacy Johnson and Kevin Narron reworked the plat to address those concerns.
The next regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting is not until May 10. The special session was called in order for the plat to be on the agenda for commissioners' meeting next Tuesday, Price said.
All plats must be approved by commissioners.
