Reward offered
The U.S. Postal Service is putting up a reward of up to $25,000 following an attempted armed robbery and a armed robbery of a Wayne County postal carrier.
The same carrier was involved in both incidences that occurred at the 2900 block of Stevens Mill Road on April 1 and at the 100 block of Crabapple Lane. Both incidences occurred between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m..
In both incidents, a handgun was brandished by the suspect(s) who has been described as a black male, slender in build and in his mid-20s.
The armed suspect appears to be the same individual in both incidents, say authorities.
The suspect(s) has been seen with an unidentified second individual driving a 1980s to 1990s burgundy van and a small, white vehicle.
