Sunday's air show crowd was treated to an extra performance by the Air Force Thunderbirds after an in-flight emergency cut their act short.
Seymour Johnson Air Force Base officials confirmed that one of the jets was forced to land -- prompting the rest of the team to pause, before starting again when the errant aircraft was, again, skyworthy.
No further information was available on the nature of the emergency.
