Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne County is sponsoring its second annual Hike for Humanity on Saturday at Stoney Creek Park.
The event is a fundraiser for Habitat, which helps low-income people obtain decent housing. It is being sponsored by a number of local businesses, along with the city of Goldsboro, the Paramount Theatre and Mount Olive College.
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will feature hiking, live entertainment, sumo wrestling, dunking booths, games for children, a "bounce house," and prizes.

Local Habitat leaders have said they hope to be able to build eight to 10 homes during the 2011-12 fiscal year.
About 60 students from four colleges spent their spring break in Wayne County this month, helping work on Habitat homes.
Students from Kutztown University and Penn State University volunteered March 6-12.
Students from SUNY Cortland-Break Group and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will volunteer March 13-19.
