Church to honor public servants Sunday

The month of March is Community Service Month and First Assembly of God, 3000 Old Summit Road, at 10 a.m., Sunday, will honor people in public service in Goldsboro, including the Goldsboro Police Department, Goldsboro Fire Department, Goldsboro City Council and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
There will be representatives from each area of service to receive a plaque for their commitment to providing safety and guidance for our community.
