CCOG helps raise $2K for youth soccer

Chevrolet Cadillac of Goldsboro was one of 21 Chevrolet dealers in central and eastern North Carolina area that partnered with local youth soccer leagues for the 2010 season, raised a total of nearly $62,050 in total donations from the dealership and private parties.
Chevrolet Cadillac of Goldsboro raised $2,100 for St. Mary Catholic School to help with equipment and other needs.
"Chevrolet has a long history with youth sports and we're glad we were able to bring that commitment to our youth soccer leagues in Goldsboro where our customers and their families live, work, and play," said Paul Benton, president of Chevrolet of Goldsboro. "We've been part of this community for years and enjoy supporting our youth sports teams."
"We are delighted to be involved with youth soccer," said Benton, of Chevrolet Goldsboro. "Sponsoring St. Mary Catholic School gave us the opportunity to illustrate our commitment to the youth and families in Goldsboro and we're glad to have achieved such positive outcome for the community."
In 2010, more than 600 Chevrolet dealers participated in Chevy Youth Soccer and helped raise more than $1.9 million for youth soccer programs across the USA.
