BPW now taking Young Careerist nominations

MOUNT OLIVE -- The Wayne-Duplin Business and Professional Women's Club is seeking nominations for the BPW Young Careerist competition.
This honor is given to a woman for her personal and professional achievements.
To be eligible, the nominee must be between the ages of 21 and 35, have been employed in business or the professions with at least one full year of work experience; be living, working, training or continuing her education in Wayne or Duplin counties; and support the goals and objectives of Business and Professional Women - North Carolina.
Participants are asked to speak on a topic related to working women and to be interviewed by a panel of judges.
The competition will take place on Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pizza Village on North Breazeale Avenue in Mount Olive.
