Three months to program, 72 motions, six people to assemble, a handful of watchers, one little boy with a big smile and 18 bears. The Leonard Bearstein Symphony Orchestra was assembled Tuesday morning at Berkeley Mall by the mall's media and advertising design team. Todd Alexander applies the finishing touches to the wiring that drives the bears. Other cosmetic details will be added later.
